- Ron will be hosting a one night
concert at the Maine State Music Theater on August, 11, 2008. The show
is entitled "Ron Raines and Friends". Ron first appeared at the
MSMT in 1974 while a 24 year old student at Oklahoma City Univeristy. I
asked Ron to tell us a little more. "I was in productions
of No,
No Nannette, Oliver, Where's Charlie, Anything Goes & Camelot," Ron explained. "I played a
leading role in No, No, Nanette and Where's Charlie. My wife, Dona, whom I didn't
know at the time, had been a leading lady at Maine State Music Theatre
the preceding summer. She directed there for two seasons after
Charlotte was born. It's wonderful to have Charlotte there now as
an Actors' Equity intern. Maine State is a family tradition for
